SPECIAL PROJECTS
In March 2022, the Retail Association of Maine (RAM), and the Maine Tourism Association (MTA) launched From Maine to Ukraine, a statewide relief program that collected food, clothing, and household goods from Maine's retailers, tourism and hospitality businesses and everyday Mainers for the people of Ukraine. Nearly three shipping containers – about 40,000 pounds – of goods were then delivered through collaboration with the Association of Retailers of Ukraine.
MAINE TOURISM & HOSPITALITY ALLIANCE
Tourism plays a vital role in Maine’s economy. RAM along with HospitalityMaine, Maine Campground Owners Association, Maine Tourism Association and Ski Maine Association form the MAINE TOURISM & HOSPITALITY ALLIANCE which works to protect Maine’s tourism industry. The partners hold several events together throughout the year.
