In partnership with the Association of Retailers of Ukraine, we are pleased to announce the launch of From Maine to Ukraine relief program to provide needed food and clothing to the people of Ukraine.

UPDATE, MAY 23, 2022: We shipped 48 pallets of food, clothing, pet food, household goods and personal hygiene products to the people of Ukraine. We estimate the total shipment weighs nearly 40,000 pounds, and we are able to fill more than two shipping containers. A huge thank you to Hancock Lumber for providing the trucks to get the items from Maine to the shipping port in New Jersey, and for donating funds to help defray the cost of shipping the items overseas. And a special thank you to the thousands of Maine people who donated so many items in every corner of the state.

In March, we partnered with Maine Tourism Association, a number of Maine retailers and individual Mainers to collect needed food and clothing items for the people of Ukraine. The program has been a tremendous success and we stopped collecting food and clothing donations as of April 1.

Multiple pallets of food, pet food, housewares, and clothing streamed into our collection locations, and we consolidated all the collections at a warehouse in Gardiner, Maine.

A number of people have continued to reach out to ask how they can help. At this point, we are unable to accept additional donations of food and clothing.

However, we are accepting monetary donations through our 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, the Maine Business Education Partnership. 100% of the funds raised will go towards this Ukraine relief program to help cover the cost of shipping the goods overseas. Any remaining proceeds will be donated to the Partnership for World Health, a Scarborough, Maine non-profit organization that is collecting and delivering medical equipment to Ukraine and other places around the world.

If you would like to make a monetary contribution, please send it to:
