RAM helps small business get compensation
Union Farm Equipment in Union, ME sells Kubota tractors and other equipment. The company also does warranty work for people who bring in not only our equipment but also equipment they buy elsewhere. When it is warranty work, the company gets reimbursed by the manufacturer for parts and labor.
Unfortunately, the manufacturers were not compensating Union Farm for this warranty work. Often the company would lose money on the work.
RAM worked with Union Farm and a local lawmaker to draft legislation so that ensuring that the company would be compensated at a reasonable rate for labor. RAM helped write testimony, patiently explained the legislative process (which is incredibly confusing) and advised Union Farm every step of the way.
Union Farm officials learned how to testify in front of a committee, learned how to speak up and how to explain an issue in easily understandable terms. With RAM's help, the legislation passed.
