Representative Millett of Cape Elizabeth would provide that if an employee is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, a dispute over the applicability or enforcement of the earned paid leave law is subject to the dispute resolution process in that collective bargaining agreement, with the remedies in the law governing family medical leave available to the employee if the employee demonstrates an employer violation.
