Summary:

This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208.

This bill proposes to adopt a law that is based on the Uniform Emergency Volunteer Health Practitioners Act, a copy of the text of which may be found here: http://legislature.maine.gov/uploads/originals/uniform-emergency-volunteer-health-practitioners-act.pdf. In addition to any substantive changes to the uniform act that may be adopted by the Legislature, the basic numbering system, the mechanical structure and the internal organization of the law recommended by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws will be altered to conform to the numbering, structure and organization of the Maine Revised Statutes.
